APBA REGIONAL TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE
January 25 – 29, 2024 – APBA at Sea Tournament and Cruise – APBA at Sea January 25th-29th aboard the Celebrity Silhouette leaving from Ft. Lauderdale Florida. Call Aidy Alonso 954-377-6424 to book a cabin. Put down a 100% refundable deposit to lock in the price $410 inside cabin, $470 Oceanview, $610 for a Veranda. All prices based on double occupancy. If you are a single traveler Aidy is keeping a list to pair people up. This offer is open to everyone even those not playing in the tournament. Tell your family and friends. Eligible teams for the tournament are any team that finished in 3rd place between 1980-1999. Managers may add 1 player that played for that team 20 years prior. Ex: if you choose the 1999 Pirates you may choose any player from the 1979 Pirates. Only APBA game company teams are eligible. This is a first, unique, and interesting tournament….sign-up and cruise to victory at sea!
February 17, 2024 – The Charlie Fouche Memorial APBA Baseball Tournament – The Charlie Fouche Memorial Tournament will be held at The Embassy Suites by Hilton, 2321 Lifestyle Way, Chattanooga, Tennessee 37421. Activities will start at 8 am in the Hamilton Room. The tournament theme is Baseball’s Golden Age 1947-1964 for teams with less than a .560 winning percentage. April 6-7 2024 – The Ed Zack Memorial APBA Baseball Tournament returns to the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown. Now expanded to two days, we will honor the indelible legacy of the creator of the APBA Baseball Handbook within the friendly confines of the learning center — and, if required, a second part of the museum TBD. Admission cost TBD based on one- or two-day attendance. Attendance fee will include catered lunch from Stagecoach Coffee and access to museum until closing time. Plenty of local accommodations within walking distance or a short drive. April 6th, 2024 – TCABT-XXI (Twin Cities APBA BASEBALL TOURNAMENT – XXI)
Location: Shakopee Youth Building at Lion’s Park, 1099 Adams St S., Shakopee, MN 55379 – Entry fee: $25 (covers site rental and remaining funds above site cost are 100% put towards APBA Game Co Gift Certificates for 1st and 2nd place, sometimes for 3rd and 4th place as well). Activities begin at 8 am. Type of tourney: Open, any MLB team from 1901 to 2023 issued by APBA Game Co as printed cards. No previous TCABT champions allowed. No teams from 2020 season allowed. Entry begins later this month and ends in late March. Basic game with advanced rules. Expect to have 30+ entrants this coming April. Contact: Jim Fraasch, “jwfraasch@gmail.com” for details.
