Awhile back, I grabbed a copy of David Krell’s book 1962: Baseball and America in the Time of JFK. In pouring through the pages, I became nostalgic for what I feel was an easier time in American history. It was this book that got me to thinking about playing the ’62 NL season (with Strat-O-Matic, of course) just to see if I could pilot the Mets to the same 40-120 record (or worse). I recently finished the second month of that season and collated stats through the end of May for all of you. Therefore, this link will take you to my stats!
